The story of the North Bohemian retreat center project began with a blessing of a wedding photography in 2014. Lama Ole Nydahl saw a patch of trees in the background and expressed a wish to purchase this lovely woods. Later he added that he must have had a vision of something beyond it. The wedding itself had taken place in Povrly, where international meditation courses have been held annually since 2007. Soon we discovered a meadow with a stunning view and almost made the purchase. Lama Ole, however, did MO, which showed that the purchase would be too difficult. He wrote to let it be, but keep our eyes open. We were searching high and low for two years.
In February 2017, Pedro Gomez came to the 11th International meditation course in Povrly (MMK Povrly) and once again pointed at Lama Ole’s vision. He said that only a handful of people have such intuitive wisdom and that when Lama Ole says ‘a vision of something beyond’, it means literally right beyond.
Behind the forest and the meadow there is a small perishing village of Mašovice, where it seemed to look that it will be possible to buy some real estate, but Lama Ole decided not to buy the land (more info HERE) and that is why we have met with impermanence at the beginning of 2018, “dusted off” The Project of the North Bohemian retreat center and started to search again. We meet for joint search events regularly, or we discover ourselves and share our findings with others at regular meetings once a month.

Regarding the wish of lama Ole Nydahl, we are looking for the new retreat center in the north Bohemian area. Over time, Lama gave us several instructions:
"We want a place with high view over the whole area, with a road, that may not be very good right now, but can be good
later. There can be several places in this Czech-Germanic area. We will just find a place that we like, which is good and clean, that gives us possibilities to work with our minds. This is what we want!"
From lama Ole's letter:
"Let's find the greatest gift we can share in this magnificent region. I cannot wait to see what you will find. May we soon enjoy space and freedom of this most beautiful expression of nature. Let's fulfil the wishes in this noble region.“
